The robot is smart and proceeds along an intelligent path. you can use the app to direct it to clean a particular room, stay away from a particular area, or focus on a particular area.
This robot also has a mopping feature. At this price point, any wet cleaning is a huge bonus. The mop tank is small but the pad is wide, and it is indeed superior to vacuuming alone.
Super easy to use.
I can schedule it to run on certain days and times and forget about it.
I do find it stuck under my couch and a cabinet often, but I don’t think that can be corrected with any.
Totally helps with the dog hair on my hard woods.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter. She has a young child who makes plenty of messes. Works great and they even named it mister happy feet.
Finally have time to unboxed it. I love it has two functions that can vacuum and mop the floor at the same time! Really good for some people like me( lazy on clean floors). The suction power is good. The instruction is easy to understand, I will try the mopping function tomorrow. It also comes with extra wipers , and all the accessories that it need, including the battery for the remote. It can be also connected to my phone, so even I am not at home, I can still get it to clean my house! Really good robot vacuum cleaner. Love it!
I recommend that you better invest in one that, although it will be more expensive, will give you better results

So I have had this for about 6 months now. Some of the plastic parts have degraded, like the latch on the dustbin. As it’s still under warranty, I contacted the customer service line to basically be told that they won’t honor the warranty and I will need to buy new parts from them. Extremely disappointed in their service. I can’t in good conscience recommend a product where they don’t even honor their own warranty.

I was pretty skeptical and didn’t want to break the bank on something that might suck. Reviews on this product were great, and now I see why! It’s not the most amazing I’m sure, but at this price point, I’m ecstatic! Two males, a dog, and an old cat that sheds more than Big Foot and this thing keeps my floors darn clean! I hate vacuuming, I hate sweeping, I hate chores honestly, and this does that for me. It’s a bit random in it’s tracking, and I’m still learning how it works, but so far it works just fine. A little loud, but it’s a vacuum, why wouldn’t it be? My pets don’t seem to mind it and it handles transitions from hardwood to carpets VERY well. This bad boy even rides up the side of one of my fans sometimes and I think it’s going to get stuck but it gets itself off just fine. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this model at all. The controller is also pretty handy. Do yourself a favor and stop dealing with vacuuming all the time. Even though the thing spins around like an idiot sometimes, eventually it gets pretty much everything, even places you wouldn’t think.

I had soured on robot vacuums after going through 2 expensive iRobot vacs 7-8 years ago that got pet hair hopelessly entangled in its main brush gears and constant hangups under chairs. The iLife caught my attention first because of the low price and the high customer ratings. My interest piqued when I read that it had no central brush, just two counter-rotating side brushes. Simple design. One thing that did work well on the iRobots was their single side brushes, which had few issues. The iLife having 2 seemed like a good idea. I have a super shedder Golden. Reviews confirmed that this did great on pet hair. So I sprung for this vacuum, and so glad I did.
Dry vacuuming performance is excellent. Definitely not as good as with our Miele cannister vac, but we have to use the Miele way way less now. It easily removes crumbs, hair, fur, bulkier items up to the size of about a large marble, smaller leaves, pine needles, and definitely dust dust bunnies. The carpets look fresh vacuumed texture-wise, too.
This is sooooooo much easier to get rid of dust and pet hair under the Sofa and Bed … I Wish I had known about this earlier …. Great Vacuum Cleaner at an affordable price. Love this vacuum cleaner.
Cleans under Sofa, Bed, pet hair very well. Auto docking with press of “Home Button” and only one to control through remote control, great feature with battery lasts for 160 mins, auto scheduling, on the spot cleaning. Good buy at 16k price. Only downside with this model is – it is minus wet mop. May be the next version has wet mop.
We really like our little cleaning robot. It does what it’s designed to do and since we got it on sale, we’re happy with the price we paid. It isn’t perfect, but we didn’t expect perfect.
After we read a bunch of online reviews, this floor cleaning robot stood out for strong scores in mopping performance and in privacy combined with a really good price. The list price is on the high side, but the product is routinely discounted, so look for deals. When on sale, and given that this robot is surprisingly effective, it’s a killer bargain, and you could even buy separate robots for different zones, rooms, or floors of your place.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I had to come back and update this review from 4 stars to 5 stars. Is the vacuum perfect? No. But is it one of the best purchases I’ve ever made? Yes. For the money, this thing is a life changer. We haven’t had to vacuum or sweep (except in corners and hard to reach places) since we bought it more than 2 years ago. For the most part it has run without issue. I change the dust bin every night (and knock the dust out of the filter), and clean and remove the pivot wheel and brushes occasionally as they can pick up some hair and fuzz. It has started acting a little strange where it won’t run automatically after it’s been powered off (I only power off if we go on vacation and can’t empty the dust bin). But if I just adjust the schedule by an hour and then back to original time it seems to correct itself and run the next night per schedule. Anyway, there are fancier models with more features, but for hard surfaces and the price, I would buy this again in a heartbeat. I sometimes wish it would die so I could get one with a bigger dustbin – but now that I’m used to emptying it every night it’s just part of my nightly routine. If you’re looking for your first inexpensive robot vacuum – I can’t recommend this one highly enough.
I picked this model because it’s consistently rated as superior in picking up animal hair, which is our biggest battle. It’s lived up to the hype! Even when I don’t think the floor is that bad, I am gob-smacked at the handfuls of fur this thing collects. We run it every day on the program – it’s very easy to schedule, but it does have to be re-scheduled if you ever fully cut the power to the unit, or if you change the batteries in the remote.
I have had my robot friend, Simon, for a week. First impressions upon opening the box was an “Oooo Aahhh”. The directions said to let your new robot friend charge overnight before first use, but of course, I ran him around immediately to just see how he works! He worked for about ten minutes. I couldn’t figure out how to get him to his home (charging station), but it turns out, he can find his own way home just fine. I recommend that you do take a few minutes to read the directions and familiarize yourself with the remote. It took about 4 hours or so for Simon to fully charge, then I turned him loose. Let me just say, I thought my floors were clean, or, at least, pretty clean. As it turns out, they were not. They were not clean at all.
Does a reasonably good job some pet hair was not picked up by the vacuum. What I really like and wish other robot vacuums had is, it has 2 ways to recharge it. You can either place it on the docking station or plug the charger directly into the vacuum. When I told it to go to the docking station the machine had a difficult time finding it and rolling into it to charge.
I reviewed many vacuums probably over 30 looking for something within a good budget but also has suction power and the ability to do something that I feel like most vacuums don’t seem to do well or if they do it well do it for like crazy price.
We’ve had Count Vacula going on three months now, and we’re pretty happy with him. With two cats and a yellow lab mix who sheds constantly, the Count has really reduced the amount of “hair tumbleweeds” blowing through the house. I think this is a sentiment expressed by most people who have a robot vacuum, but it was surprising just how much stuff was in there the first time we ran it (and is in there every time we’ve run it since). For the reduction in pet hair alone, this was well worth the cost and we’d purchase again.
I’ve only had this vac for about 2 weeks, but I’ve already used it 5 or 6 times and it has genuinely impressed me with it overall performance. I have primarily hardwood and linoleum flooring in my home, like 90% hard flooring and low pile floor rugs.

This Roomba model has mapping capabilities which still amazes me when I see it navigate around furniture. It avoids obstacles like cords. It can be used on different floors by creating different maps. It does well on bards floors and on carpets. I have had to remap occasionally as it can get confused over time, but not a big deal. The suction is very good making it very effective at getting dust out of carpets and rugs. I recommend it.
This robot vacuum is awesome and worth every penny. Highly recommend this vacuum to everyone, my wife agrees! Happy wife, happy life! Might buy another for my upstairs. For a robot vacuum, it does what I expect and makes my life easier. I don’t make it pick up large debris, robot vacuums seem to perform best with small debris. Large debris may get stuck or caught. Lidar works phenomenal, but with some hiccups when mapping house (mostly human error). Routing around obstacles works well, slows around objects and if anything is bumped it’s so light and cushioned, it’s not a problem. 5 stars overall. 4 stars deep cleaning and suction leaving room for improvement, it’s a robot vacuum, what do you expect? Probably has Alexa integration, but I use Google assistant and it works great!
We tried two other brands of robot vacuums and this Shark is our third, so I think it is a good frame of reference for an average consumer. I really do not see any cons for this vacuum so will list only pros with some clarification.
This model is reasonably priced and if you manage to get it with any kind of discount (we did), it is great value for the money.
It is well designed and well built but this model feels a bit clunkier than our original self-emptying Sharks which are three years old.
Cleans very well but we do run it daily because – why not?
Ours is a somewhat heavy traffic household with multiple pets, houseplants, gardeners and so on. This vacuum manages beautifully however I do have to empty the container every two weeks, so for us it is an approximately 14-15 day storage capacity.
The app is simply wonderful, really. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. You can add a vacuum easily, schedule creation is a piece of cake.
We have a variety of floors – hardwood, wool area carpets, sisal rugs, tile and this vacuum works on all of them very, very well.
Great mapping. Gets to every place it is supposed to, always finds the dock, follows “no go” instructions. If full, returns to the dock, empties itself and resumes cleaning till done.
Impressive battery life, cleans for at least an hour perhaps can even go longer, cannot say.
When it came time to replace one of our vacuums that refused to hold charge anymore (different brand and in all fairness it did last for six years), I decided to get another Shark. Very happy I did.
Oh, also need to mention. When this vacuum arrived I could not find the snap-om side brushes. Seemingly looked and looked and finally called their customer service. Very nice guy asked to show the video of the box. And when I did, pointed out the brushes. I really felt like an idiot and hopefully reading this will save someone the same embarrassment. The brushes are in tiny reddish tinted plastic bag stuck to the packing materials. So please make sure to look closer unlike some other people….
